On ‘Very Cavallari,’ Jay Cutler admits ‘I didn’t take college very seriously’

If the Bears wanted former quarterback Jay Cutler to play better, perhaps they should have added his wife’s mom to the coaching staff.

“I think that out of anybody, my mom is the one person Jay’s going to listen to,” Cutler’s wife, Kristin Cavallari, said on Sunday’s episode of “Very Cavallari.”

More of Cutler’s personality was revealed on the episode, thanks to an interview he gave to his friend, Kelly Henderson, for her Velvet’s Edge podcast. Some of the things we learned from the interview and the episode: Cutler’s “not the biggest pesto fan”; he and Cavallari experiment with “many different” sexual positions; he cuts his young sons’ hair; he acts like a gentleman when he’s on vacation (though he “expects things in return”); he’s been to a “handful” of strip clubs; and he “didn’t take college very seriously.” He graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in human and organizational development.
